What is 1GPA?

A National Purchasing Co-Op: 1Government Procurement Alliance (1GPA) is a non-profit national governmental purchasing cooperative which allows public agencies to take advantage of existing contracts to purchase the goods and services they need from local and national vendors. 1GPA is based in Arizona, but partners with members all over the United States. 1GPA’s purchasing power and access to established public contracts means agencies can purchase building products, office supplies, furnishings, janitorial supplies, office machines, computers & software, telecommunications, and more at the most competitive pricing available.

K-Log offers a 5% discount to all 1GPA Members, which is in addition to K-Log’s already discounted prices.

Who Can Join 1GPA?

Check with your Purchasing Manager: 1GPA’s pooled purchasing power means public and private schools, cities, counties and state agencies, as well as colleges, universities and Native American communities can save actual budget dollars on 1GPA contracts utilizing best business practices. As required by law, 1GPA awards contracts following the purchasing procedures mandated by state & federal laws and regulations.

Can We Be A Member Of More Than One Co-Op?

Yes, membership is allowed in 1GPA and other Co-Ops: Many organizations are members of 1GPA, as well as additional Co-Ops and purchasing contracts. This offers the benefits of a wide product selection from multiple approved vendors.
Membership Registration is FREE and 1GPA gives members the advantages of

  • (1) leveraging the Cooperative’s ability to obtain discounts,
  • (2) providing contracting expertise and well-written contracts,
  • (3) saving time by providing the procurement process (and due diligence documentation),
  • (4) working directly with 1GPA Awarded Contractors, and

Can Membership Be Done Online?

Yes, register online in a few simple steps: Membership is free and registration can be done online at the 1GPA website at www.1gpa.org/become-a-member/. Click on the “Become a Member” tab. Because membership requirements vary by state, it’s always best to check with your purchasing manager to confirm what statutes apply in your particular jurisdiction. On the 1GPA website you will find all due diligence documents as well as guidelines for K-12 Compliance.

How Do We Place Our Purchase Orders?

1GPA members issue purchase orders (PO) directly to the Vendor: Contact K-Log for a formal quote that includes shipping, before placing your PO. Specify 1GPA RFP #19-02PV for Furniture Products and Services. Then prepare your PO referencing the 1GPA contract number and title, showing the 1GPA 5% discount. K-Log will send copies of POs to 1GPA with their monthly reporting.
