A Guide to School Chair Sizes

Printer-Friendly Version

Elementary school age children grow at a rapid pace and choosing the proper seat height for your students is a challenge. This guide supplies size averages to help narrow your choices. Generally, you should select chairs with seats approximately 10” lower than the corresponding tabletop height. ADA chairs, tables and desks tend to be slightly taller than standard sizes.
