Beam Seating Buying Guide

Beam seating provides fixed chairs along a single beam, constructed using heavy-gauge steel. The steel frame is supported on stabilizing legs and finished for an appealing design that complements any setting. Beam seating options include varying seat quantity and optional table attachment, in solid or upholstered designs.

Chair Shapes & Styles

Single chair options include a one-person beam seat with attached table. The chair portion of these one-person beams is available with upholstered seat or polypropylene seat and coordinating polypropylene backrest. The seat and backrest feature contoured shaping for comfort and the polypropylene components are easy to clean for lasting use.

Arrangements with beams of up to five individual seats are available in several styles, with all-seat or seat and table combinations. The separate seat and backrest of most beam seat collections offers a lower back vent for cooling heat dissipation and most styles offer a solid, non-upholstered backrest.

Backrest Options

The Moon Beam Seating Collection offers a curved backrest, with open lower back for ventilation and mesh panel design for airflow. The same collection is available with Star Backrest, constructed from polypropylene and featuring a cutout pattern allowing airflow with more solid feel. The seats of both Moon and Star Beam Seating elements are cushioned and upholstered in a variety of colors using stain-resistant fabric. The cushions are replaceable for simplified upkeep and longer lasting quality use.

The 2000 Series comes in all-poly seat and backrest with matching seat and back color in a solid polypropylene design. Lower back vent allows cooling airflow and the contoured shape provides better sitting comfort. The 2000 Series is also available with upholstered seat, cushioned for enhanced comfort, and optional armrests can attach to the different beams for added support.

The NET Series features angled V-shaped leg supports and one-piece chair shells frames in gray polypropylene for support. The cushioned and upholstered chairs are offered in different contemporary colors with mesh-like design safe for indoor and outdoor use. The NET Series beams with tabletop include round, frosted glass table.

Interchangeable Table and Chairs

All of the beam seating elements, with table and chair combinations, accommodate interchangeable seat and tabletop assembly. The tabletop element can be attached to any of the seat locations, and likewise, the seats may be positioned in place of the tabletop for custom arrangements. This is true for all Beam Seating Collections.

Leveling Glides

The beam seating frames have adjustable leveling glides on the leg or feet supports. The leveling glides allow adjustment to reduce wobbling, tipping, or other unwanted movement when the beams are positioned un uneven floors.
